Scrapy1967's iNSD 2019 scraproom before and after challenge for points

Post by scrapy1967 »

Hi ladies, I am so excited and honored to have been chosen to host again. Love doing this and have so much fun creating  challenges and games for everyone.

For this challenge I need to see your scrapbook room, space, corner, table whatever you have will work for this. I want to see it clean or what you consider clean you have until Friday May 3rd to submit your before photo and after photo will be due on Monday May 6th.
Random sprinkles to all that show me both photos and one lucky gal will get 500 points.

I will be back to post my room. I just did a big redo and now have taken over the room that connects to my main room formally known as the formal living room.  It is connected  by French doors. I have just finished it this week. I do have one more item coming for storage and to hold my Cricut maker and brother scan n cut.

Oh.. love this!  Here is the space I am using while my basement is being renovated. I have set up shop in my dining/living room area.  I have a mini bar to my right, if needed, lol!  To my left is my main kitchen/dining table that is housing my computer and Cricut.

This is about as clean as it's going to get before tomorrow.  Too many other things going on to try and get it spotless....

Wow! Your photos are quite impressive. I will post my scrap area before photos here. I have taken over the dining room since DH claimed the 3rd bedroom for his office. I enjoy having all my storage cubes stacked on one side of the room. The table is very clean right now. I will set up an extra table for my scrap buddies on Saturday. Did you see my ACOT tote on the floor? I love it! My mom bought it for me when we visited the ACOT warehouse a few years ago. I'm so excited for NSD!

Cleared off the best I could. Left table has stuff I want to use to scrap the Thanksgiving 2018 pics and the right table has some Gender Reveal things going on. I do NOT want to move those and hide them! LOL

Here are a couple of photos of my space.  Not huge, but it is my space.  Computer and silhouette sit on wall opposite to desk.

You have so much great storage! Here's my room, as clean as it will be before Saturday as I am sorting through new photos I picked up yesterday and trying to pick some possible papers to use.

And here is after. Not too bad, I do some picking up as I go. Time to put stuff away and get back to my real life of laundry, cooking and dishes. Sigh.

This is always fun! I've mentioned this before, but I tend to keep my room pretty spic & span because I work part time from home and this doubles as my home office. I have to clean up after every project so I don't have the distraction LOL  So it's tidy now.  Typically as iNSD winds down there are piles on every surface...including the floor!  :-D
ImageImage

**EDITED 5/4**  So I started cleaning up before going to bed tonight, picked up everything off the floor & realized I'd probably better go ahead and post these after pics!  I usually put everything away after each project, but I have a half-done layout to finish in the morning.  Here's my after pics:

Mine is still clean from a couple weeks ago. I have been putting things away after each LO which is so unlike me. So I'm using pics of my room from a few weeks ago for the clean room part.

ImageImageImageThis is my small working area clean.  Excuse the butterflies on the dresser lol!  I got it free and I'm going to work on it and distress it this summer.  At least that's my plan. :)

Janet, I love your shelf of baskets!  Longaberger?
OCD is not an adjective.  It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized.  It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. 💙 I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son. 💙

This is GREAT! I love seeing how everyone has organized their spaces.
I just moved/reorganized my space and I'm so excited to play in here this weekend.

Yes those are the Christmas collection. I have everyone of them except the first and last basket they made in that line. I have close to 800 baskets and 2 or 3 hundred pottery pieces. I have bought huge lots dirt cheap on eBay and picked them up here and there at garage sales. The shelf continues along the other wall. My husband and I made the shelves out baseboards from a 100 year old farm house.
