awesome! I love this challenge, such a great way to use up scraps off your desk from the day!!  Can't wait to get started on this one when I get back home.

What do you mean cannot start with a base larger than 7x7? Does that mean we can't use a full 12x12 as the background and then layer with the other patterned papers? Sorry little confused.. the layouts are so inspirational though!

I think she said you can't use papers larger than 7x7 OTHER THAN your background sheet. So yes, you can still do a 12x12 layouts.

I used four patterened papers all scraps red and white polka dot, blue on blue polka dot, multi color stars and multi color stripes.

Use Your Stash Challenge I used:
NUMBERS
1. grn washi and orange and grey stripe washi
2. wood chevrons
3. 3 lines of journaling
6. red and brown buttons on corner of pic
10. 5 patterened papers red and white polka dot, blue on blue polka dot, multi color stars, multi color stripes and burlap design
12. buttons are sewn with green ribbon
18. white background
19. simple stories-homespun-heart and home paper(multi stripes)
20. 4 layers
22. green paper
23. black enamel dots upper right corner

The rules say cardstock background, but based on the sample and some submissions, we CAN use a new piece of 12x12 patterned paper as the background, right?  Just want to make sure I'm following the rules. :)
