When I first heard of Toilet Paper Tube album, I thought that was the strangest thing... what strange thing have you altered? If you have a pic that would be awesome....

An old box that I cut down and made into a display for mini books and things.

The strangest thing I've altered has got to be the back pockets from my old jeans. It's strange to alter something your buttcheeks have rubbed against for a long time. :winkb:

Image I think my muffin tin was the most unusual object I ever altered. Then I had to go buy a new one to bake cupcakes in.

Don't know how strange this is but I altered some plain white storage containers from Target for my dd's baby shower. They just happen to be 12 x 12 size and I made baby blocks out of them and also made a display with scrappy pages on it and a shower umbrella. I filled them with diapers, and the display one had stuffed animals popping out of the top and baby supplies in them.

I used a used Bounce Sheet to make the flower on this card. Did some inking, tatter, and glitter to change the look of the multiple cut circles before attaching with a brad.

(Can't download photo from my computer file.)

WOW, y'all, I'm impressed!! I've never heard of jeans pocket albums but those are adorable!

I don't think I've done anything strange, really - magnets, a wooden door hanger, that's about it. Boring. I did do a castle-shaped chipboard album recently which was unusual for me!

I don't have a photo (don't know why I never did take one) but I use an empty laundry detergent box, decorated with some flowers and scraps of paper, to store all my handmade greeting cards. Plus, they smell really good too!

If you look in the monthly challenges under Altered Objects you can see I have altered practically everything from gauze to bottles.

This was a drawer divider .

but this is my all time favorite. These were arrow shaped wood pieces.

I live in an altered reality...does that count? lol

Jules is the bottom altered item; is that the tops of a picket fence wood?

No, Lana. I use to design for a manufacturer, Genuinely Jane, and that was an arrow mini album I was sent to design with. I repurposed it into a tribute to HOME. You can't read it but each panel has a quote about home on it. A wide picket might work though you clever girl you!
