my mom bought me a book that my son had to fill out some of his memories(he's 9). He put in one and promised me more. What a cutie.

Not a mom, but I had worked on a scrapbook for my mother. Last year, I created an album of me and DH, from birth to 5 years old. This year, she received the 2nd album to it - from 6 years of age to 19.

Cards, a bear with flowers, time alone to scrap, a necklace, bracelet and dh ordered me an iPad2 that will come lat in the month.

a beautiful rose bush, more beads for my bracelet (that is actually for Christmas, birthday, Easter, Mothers Day, anniversary, etc.), a biography written and illustrated by my 7yo DS, and limited interruptions during Mass so I could really listen.

A phone call from my son at 7:54 am!!! and the good news that he got a promotion at his job which means more of a chance to come to Texas (headquarters for their company is in Dallas!)!!!
Rachel & Bob are taking us (Barb & me) out to eat..well they're meeting us at the restaurant after they pick up his mother and "treating" us. (hopefully, things will go smoothly and the woman won't sabotage the evening..she is a night person and likes to eat LATE!! We go to bed "early" since I work tomorrow and compromised by making dinner at 7pm) We'll see what happens.

I had the BEST Mother's Day weekend!
From DH: He let me sit here from Friday afternoon, straight through till we left for dinner today. He took care of food, house, pets. He also worked non stop building things in my scrap room and bought me flowers and dinner.
From DD#1: She brought me flowers and a box filled with scrap stuff she found at a little local store near her.
From DD#2: She's the one that made me a beautiful picture of flowers in a vase, framed it and sent it to me for my scrap room.
(do you sense a theme here? lol) Plus the theme of my scraproom is FLOWERS! lol
I got 4 amazing cards, one from each of them and one from my future son-in-law.
I'm still basking in all the love!
