Okay....curious what you all are doing today when it comes to eating...lunch...dinner...snacking....???

Today while I was cutting the front lawn, I was steaming rice. My daughter and I then made sushi (salmon and tuna) when I was done....and all 3 of us filled up on that for lunch!!!! YUMMERS!!!!!

We then went to the store right before the crop to pick up a freshly made cheese pizza to bake at home. I love to add extra ingredients to mine...so my section will have mushrooms, garlic, tomatoes, and basil.

So spill....what are you all doing?

I took the kids to pick raspberries this morning, and we grabbed bagels on our way home. The berries were our afternoon snack, and I'm baking ranch chicken with garlic bread, cheese tortellini, broccoli, and brownies for dinner. I hadn't planned to cook, but my son's g/f decided to come for the weekend at the last minute, and I feel obligated to be a decent hostess.

I cooked yesterday so it would be ready to just heat up today. I made this dish with no name-it's mild & sweet italian sausage, ground beef, diced tomatoes, white sauce, basil, oregano and mozz cheese. We have this with penne. YUMMMM!!

lunch was a salad with grilled chicken and Balsamic vinegar dressing. Dinner will be a cultural affair, we have Vietnamese eggrolls from DH mom, flank steak (a fav of my family) and then the other family is from Mexico and they are bringing some of their favs! Cant wait!

I'm thinking that for dinner it will be grilled chicken and corn on the cob...that's if dh feels like grilling when he gets home... If not, a tomato sandwich will be fine with me!

I'm hiding out in my bedroom. My oldest came up a little while ago and said "what's for dinner mom?" My response "Whatever you can find in the fridge" :-D We've got leftover grilled chicken and red skin potatoes. That should suffice!
