Fast Scrap #8 *WINNER*
This fast scrap is a fun paper-folding project I found online! You could use it to put a little gift in, as I will, or as a disposable trash bin for all the paper scraps you are making while scrapping! LOL!

Directions:

Click on the link for the pattern and video demo, if needed. http://en.origami-club.com//newspaper/g ... /index.htm

Fold it and decorate it to your satisfaction! Must have at least 2 embellishments. I actually used the newsprint that ACOT uses to stuff inside priority boxes so your items don't knock around. LOL! I just flattened it and sprayed it with glimmer mist and did some stamping on it before I folded it.

You can use any rectangular piece of paper. The bigger the paper, the bigger your bin will be. Post your creation in the gallery under the correct Fast Scrap and if you want, bring it to post here. I will choose a random winner from all of those posted by 4:01 p.m. today for a $5 gc to ACOT!

You all did a wonderful job! Random winner of the gc is oceanbreezes423!

just tried to do this...apparently double sided paper is not the way too go...way too thick. I will try again later though. great idea.

Hoping that bribing you with money will add to my chances... LOL. No it was just what I had handy at my desk! Tried it with newspaper first and it was too floppy. This worked perfect. Super cute, thanks!

Re: Fast Scrap #8
Remember, the demo is done with newspaper, so thinner paper will probably work better, especially if you are using a smaller size. It needs to be a proportionate rectangle, too. I had to trim down my local newspaper when I practiced, because it was too narrow compared to the length. I folded the corners down and they came to the bottom, instead of a few inches from the bottom.

Kristen, that is cool! Wouldn't that be fun gift, too? You could give the money and put some candy or a little trinket in it?
