Embossing class--Friday at 5pm EST

Post by Kimandasmo »

am going to be doing a class on
embossing
...

I will start with heat
embossing
using ink,
embossing
powder and a heat gun.

For this you will need:

A pigment ink and
embossing
powder....any color will work the ink color should be similar to the embsossing powder you chose.

You will aslo need a stamp... I am using the newPrima clear stamps. Any of the designs will work great.

You will also need a heat gun.

I will also being showing you how to emboss and embellish using the Sizzix
embossing
dies. Any of these will work.

I also have a faux metal
embossing
technique to show you and you will need foil tape..you get this at any of your local hardware stores.

I also have a quick little something for those of you who have the dymo label makers.....

I'm looking forward to your tips about using the embossing powder & heat tool, as I haven't done this yet. The label maker part sounds interesting, too.

I love embossing! All my Christmas cards are embossed in one shape, form or another! :)

Sounds cool, I will probably pop in for the lable maker part. I just bought a dymo, I had the Around the Block manual one forever and I finally couldn't take it anymore. I love embossing and I know my friends that are no into scrapbooking always have questions about it so I am sure lots of peolpe are going to love this class!

I went to a Stampin' Up part once and was shown how to emboss. So I went out and bought the heat gun and powder...and haven't been able to remember how to use it...and this was 5 years ago! I'll be here for your class for sure!

I have never embossed or stamped anything before so this class sounds great. I do not have any of the supplies so I may just follow the class, but I'm tempted to go shopping. I'll have to check the schedule to see the time of this class. It really looks fun.

Great class! I've only embossed once using ink and powder, so I need a refresher. Do not have a die machine but would love to see how this works!

Looks like fun!

I need motivation to make my heat gun useful.

Will clear embossing powder work with a colored ink? I think that's all I own.

Oh I am terrible at all kinds of embossing, and except for the foil, have all the supplies needed! Hope this class is given when I'm here!

I can't afford to add too much stuff to my stash right now, but I do already have the Sizzix texture boutique, so maybe I can learn some new tips!
