My college days at BU...especially when the US won the Olympic Gold in Hockey b/c a number of the players were from BU. My first job... the shuttle explosion...DEVO (Whip it good)... so many good memories!

Got married in 1982 and had my son in 1989.

My little sister being born, but since I was seven when the 80's ended I am fuzzy on all of it lol

DS and DD were born!

Graduating from college and going to work at the Johnson Space Center, so yea, I definitely remember the Challenger explosion. (I had a crush on this one astronaut. My friend noticed that he was scheduled for training one evening on the simulator, so I stayed late and just happened to be hanging around down there when he arrived. He was training with two of the Challenger astronauts, Judy Resnik and Mike Smith. I remember Mike fooling around with a camera and taking Judy's picture with her sticking her tongue out at him.)


I remember dating a lot - at least for the first half of the decade. And my father's illness and dying in 85.

I was a teenager and it was the best time of my life.

I remember, neon clothes, big hair, heavy wild earrings, leg warmers, shuttle, Dukes of Hazzard, Dallas were my favs. Duran Duran, MJ, comadore 64 computers. Boy were did time go.

High school prom, graduation, my brothers wedding, my first real love.

High school and college!! All 8 of those years were in the 80's, so that's a huge part of my life. Friends, crushes, 1st date (sr. year in hs), 1st boyfriend (soph. in college), tons of spiritual growth, moving away from home (big for an only child), and 1st job after college! Meeting DH even.

gOSH, I remember so much! The Challenger explosion I was getting fitted for a bridesmaid gown when we heard that.....I remember Ronald Reagan being shot....it pre-empted General Hospital after school.....I remember parachute pants and china slippers. The Olivia Newton John headbands and leg warmers.

My 25th HS reunion is the 3 weeks!!

I was in kindergarten in 80, so I went all through school in the 80's.

I remember the shuttle explosion too. And chernoble blowing up, and the terrorists shooting up the airport in Vienna the day after I was there.
