CARD NO. 3




Step One: cut a piece of patterned paper to measure 12x6. Save remaining piece.






Step Two: starting on either side, score at 2,4, 8 and 10 inch intervals.




Step Three: fold per photo



Step Four: cut a contrasting pattern piece from the remaining paper to fit the center of the card (approximately 6 inches top to bottom and 4 across)...measure your card to make sure. Adhere to the center.



Step Five: embellish to suit. I glued two of the round stickers to chipboard and cut around them. I used a strong glue to adhere and these two served to interlock and keep the card closed. I added ric rack (can you tell I love this trim?lol) and a rub on or journal block to the inside. Another option is to attach ribbon to the back of each wing, threading it through two slips on the first score of each and tied the wings closed.

Thanks...I'll be around til 10am EST and then I am taking a shower! I have a friend coming over to play at this crop here at the house and I should clean up just a tad, don't ya think?

BTW: I use a fabric glue called Fabric Fusion to adhere the ric rack...it dries clear (is by Aleene's) and I apply it with a toothpick or a thin wooden skewer. Scrappy glue works too or any clear drying liquid glue.
