Jenny Sanford is the Governor of SC's wife, soon to be ex-wife next month.
Just by writing the book when she supposedly wanted privacy & then to go on the book tour - it kept the whole darn thing in the public's eye way too much - the whole incident has put this state years behind in getting decent legislation passed.

After seeing his story on tv I just had to read his book. I am amazed at the courage he and his wife had. I often wonder how his family is doing.

Nicholas Sparks is my husband's favorite author. He's trying to get me to read Last Song now before the movie comes out.
The Last Song was one of my favorites. I have not seen any of the movies from the books but will definitely be tempted to see this movie!

I posted Like Water for Chocolate as a bonus word because it is one of those "dirty, little, secret pleasures". The writing is fantastic, but the passion and (sex ) is pretty darn nice too!!
