...at the movies?

I saw Twilight Thursday night and I saw Precious last night. WOW, it was tough to watch! Great movie though. It was sad, and inspiring all at the same time.

Saw "2012" the day it opened. Loved the computer effects....gave the movie an overall C+

I saw the mightnight showing on New Moon which was the first movie since the last Harry Potter. I have 8month old twins so not seeing a lot of movies these days lol

Went and saw Paranormal Activity a couple of weeks ago... I loved it! Scary/Creepy without being gory.

Are U kidding me? The last time I went to the movies was last year June17th, 2008 on my son's birthday? I want to say it was The Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer. I think, I'm not really sure.

I watched Hairspray DVD yesterday. The movie was okay, but John Travolta was AWESOME!!

The last movie I saw in the theater was the first Pirates of the Caribean. I actually saw it at the movie theater at Downtown Disneyland - and rode the ride the next morning.

There is an incredibly great deal of cursing. Every word you can imagine. There are rape scenes. There is physical and verbal abuse. It is rough, dark, gritty, VERY realistic, and incredibly sad. However, there is an amazing message of hope, love, and perseverance. This will definitely be personal choice for you and your daughter but if she is mature and can handle a good adult conversation about the topics at hand I think it is a disservice for her not to see it.
