In this class I am going to teach you how to print digital elements or pages onto fabric for sewing projects or to add a nice texture to your traditional paper layouts. I want to give you fair warning that when printing on fabric, you need to allow for 12 hours of dry team before handling. Also be sure to launder any clothing you will be using before sewing anything on it.

You ready to start?? :-D It will be a short class since it's getting late, and it's a nice simple project, promise. ;)

I constantly find myself looking at digital kits and think they would be adorable clothes for Jasmine. There are so many fun and whimsical designs out there! The two kits in particular I used on my projects are both by Isabel Mendez (Crisdam Designs). They are “Cotton Candy” and “Be Mine” which are available here at AcherryOnTop and on sale for 40% through this crop weekend!

Other supplies I used are buttons, ribbon, flowers, and fabric sheets especially made for printing on. For a complete list of products, see viewtopic.php?f=316&t=205062&p=3708887#p3708887

So first things first, open your photo editing program and set the dimensions to 8x11 (the size of the fabric sheets you will be printing on). Now, what I like to do is cram as many fun goodies as I can on one sheet so that I am not wasting any of it. if you are printing a layout, make sure you resize it as wellI suggest printing a practice test on a regular sheet of printer paper first, to be sure of colors and size before using the fabric sheet.
