OMGosh - I LOVE those (never seen My Fair Lady though). 

Have you seen 50 First Dates, The Notebook, What Women Want, Clueless, Legally Blonde, Moulin Rouge???

Dude, definitely!  If you like costume-y stuff and strong historical women!  Shakespeare in love is romantic and so funny and Dangerous Beauty is about Veronica Fraco, a Venetian courtesan and poet who was super independent and fought the Inquisition.  It is hard to find but we JUST netflixed it.
