I'm here and will be following along with your class (won't make the items today since I am totally not prepared); but will use it for ideas and hopefully have it done in time for Jazzy for the holiday.

Jazzy is my Chihuahua, I don't have any kitties!

Now that I have seen these items, they are definitely on my must do list!

OMG - I'm here and I'd LOVE to make some of these things!!!  My new little chihuahua, Sammy or Jake, my large black Irish Setter or any one of my 3 female kitties would be thrilled to receive any one of them!!  (so - I may have to make at least 5 things)

These will be a great gift for my boss; he has a sheltie that is like his child and I was wondering what to get him.

Where do you buy the cans?

Alright!  Let's start.  So, we started with these items....

Any kind of tin.  The dog bone and large can were at WalMart for 3.00!  Can't beat that.

And, a hook.  This is from Michaels, but any kind of hook would work...there are other styles.

We'll start with the tin...then everything else seems so easy!  LOL!

First of all, make sure your tin is clean.  Wash it up, dry it off.  Just a note, we’re not going to get into the actual paper cut sizes.  Everyone will have their own tin, their own sizes, so I’ll show you the not-so-technical way that I determine how big to cut my papers.

Image

So, here’s my super technical way to measure the papers for your tin.  Place the papers where you plan to put them.  Snug them up to the end point and mark where you’d like to cut with a pencil.  Cut.   I suggest you cut all of you papers before beginning.  Once the Mod Podge comes out, it gets a bit hairy trying to cut things and keep the Mod Podge going.
