The template is a free download. It is available in PNG format (right in the zip file) for use in other digital programs.

Yes, please do read that tutorial. It's called Digi Templates 101. HOWEVER, the first half of that tutorial explains all about how to use Photoshop elements, what layers are, and other things you will need to know to create digital layouts. It is geared for beginners. I tested it on my daughter-who had never used Photoshop before-and she was able to create her own layout using the template with no assistance from me.

I love Tracy's digi classes!!  Should be able to get enough layouts done by the new year that I can go SHOPPING for this album!!

 Making sure that your paper layer is the active layer (click on the layer to make it active), press CTL+G or go to LAYERS> GROUP WITH PREVIOUS to "clip" your paper to the template shape. Repeat these steps for your border layer if you’re going to be
using it.
