With these kinds of projects, you’re going to have some overhang.  Trim it with your scissors, or sand them down.  Sanding should be done in a downward swiping motion.  Do not make the upward motion, it will pull the papers up. Ink the edges if desired, after sanding.

Once your ink is dry, apply the top coat of MP.  Again, no harsh starts and stops, just clean, thin strokes.

 Hi
Will PPA work instead of ModPodge ??
I am doing the "Treat Holder" since My Cat loves to find treat Packs and open them and devour contents.. This way she wont be able to Overdo the treats....
Thanks for tip about tins from Walmart.. I often buy them Boxing Day on Sale.. So I found one in My Stash...  Geri

I honestly don't know.  PPA Is a regular glue whereas MP is kind of made specifically for this.  I've never used PPA, so maybe someone who has could help us out.

Think of all of the uses for these “hangers”.  My girls have them for coats, bathrobes, and for the toys in their rooms that should be kept off the floor (Leapster, camera, and NintendoDS)

And we’re off to our final item, the ornament.  Same rules apply. Trace and cut your papers, clean your project if needed, and paint.

Apply a thin coat of Mod Podge, place your papers and allow it to dry.

I highly recommend that you DON’T MP over the picture until you have a lot of MP experience.  It can be really tricky as the picture will reflect every stroke if it isn’t on exactly right.  Just use your scrappers glue of choice to secure the picture and it's mat down on the ornament.

I love these. I expecially like the ornaments. I will be making 2 of them for my dogs that have passed away recently. The others I'm going to give as gifts. Thanks for the great ideas!

This has been my favorite class! I know what I am making for Christmas gifts now.

Gotta go shopping now!

Thank you so much, you made this class easy even for beginners like me!
