Or am I getting ahead of the class.... :?

Ondrea, this will be EXACTLY what you can make with your Cricut! And now since I know you can make your own, I fully expect you to make one for me. LOL!!! ;)

LOL  DEAL!  I am moving my craft room to the basement to create a Guest room and the walls up there are SOOO bare now.  It def needs some dressing up.  :-D

First, we will be altering some photo frames for this space.  How to use crackle paint on a frame Step 1: Remove the backing from your picture frame and put aside, along with glass or any mat that may be in the frame. We want it to be JUST the frame. Step 2: Place on your work surface. I used an old piece of cardboard from one of my orders! Image

Ok just a tip here ladies- the crackle paint WILL NOT work on a PLASTIC frame. So if you would like to paint or spray paint a plastic frame instead, please, feel free. BUt the crackle paint can't adhere to the plastic surface. ( I tried! LOL )
What I love about the crackle paint is that it gives such a neat texture and is super easy to do. My daughter's room is the Shabby Chic style and crackle paint is perfect for this!

Step 3: Open your container of Tim Holtz Crackle Paint. You will see that it comes with an applicator brush attached to the lid, very handy.

Step 4: Directly paint the crackle paint onto your wood frame. Depending on how much paint you apply in an area will determine the size of cracks. I like to have a nice variety so I apply a lot of paint in one area and a thinner coat in others.

 Good morning ladies!!

My hubby forgot to turn his alarm OFF so when it went off at 5:30 this morning I wasn't a very happy girl! But it sure made me realize how early he usually gets up every day!
