You have to click, HOLD and drag your photo to the template.j3xs wrote: help!
I get the bounding box in the photo on the template but when I click on the photo in the try it becomes its own layer in a new LO and no bounding box thanks

Looking at Photo #1 in our tutorial, right above the number three you can see a small white triangle. Look at the bottom of your screen for that triangle. Click it to open your Photo Bin.3 Pals wrote: I have regu;ar Photoshop and don't have the Photo BIn - or if I do I do not know how to make it available

OK I figured out the background and clipping mask in CS3 but cannot seem to resize my photo....argh!
j3xs & 3Pals, if you can't get the photo bin tray method to work, try Method #1. Tile your widows, and then drag and drop from window to another. Both ways will work.

Did you resize before clipping?

I haven't clipped because it is too small... I'm thinking I have to resize the "original" photo before dragging it into the LO because ON the LO i cannot figure out how to change the size...hmmm
Ok Jess,
Click on your photo. Do you see the bounding box then? Click on any corner of the box and click and HOLD your mouse button. Drag AWAY from the middle to enlarge, TOWARDS the middle to shrink.

Here's another photo of the bounding box:

When I try to do the bracket layer, I highlight it, click, hold & drag, but as soon as I let go, it tries to make it some other layer, not the bracket.
I figured it out! In CS3 there was a different obscure little box to check to get the bounding box....found! I am good to go
As you drag each item to your layout it *will* become it's own layer.
See here how my photo is it's own layer?

Oo! I know what might be wrong, this happened to me and made me NUTS!!! Check to make sure that you have the MOVE Tool on (First one at the top, it looks like an arrow). Also make sure that AUTO SELECT LAYER is checked off.

I'm here (was catching up) & will DEFINITELY be using one of these templates during the crop!! The clipping/grouping thing never made sense to me...now it does

Use the instructions I gave to Jess regarding how to ENLARGE your elements using the bounding box.

No little triangel; by tiling you mean open up each file individually in photoshop? I can do that but the photo bin thing looks much easier -ICanHasCherryOnTop wrote: j3xs & 3Pals, if you can't get the photo bin tray method to work, try Method #1.
