Hi everyone.
I am new (obviously! ) My name is Cathy. I've scrapbooking off and on for about 12 years now. I am staying home right now so I have time to get back into it after a 3 year break. I have tons of questions flashing through my head. My biggest of all is how does on-line scrapbooking work? I am looking forward to the CSI crop. Very excited about that and about getting to others with my love of beautiful paper, keeping memories alive. Thanks!!!
Welcome!!!
I am pretty new at scrapbooking, I hoping all these great gals can give me inspiration. I am sorry I can't answer your question,

hi Cathy! welcome to ACOT.
did you hear about us thru the CSI emails? Our Online Crop FAQ is right here
Online scrapbooking isn't as odd as it initially sounds. The ACOT Creative Team hosts the shindig and supplies all the fun, games and most importantly challenges to get you scrapping. A challenge gives you inspiration to scrap, many times you'll find yourself trying a new theme, technique or product. You scrap your layout, then upload a photo or scan of your layout to our gallery. That's all it takes.

Thank you for all of the welcomes!
I did find ACOT in an e-mail tonight from the CSI crop info. I'm so glad I did. I just ordered tons of great papers and the kit for a penny. What a great price!
I read the article about what an on-line crop is and also found a great one called "how do you prepare for the crop". I am excited about the all weekend crop but am now scrabbling to figure out how to fully participate. My husband just informed me that he'll be gone the 15-19. Gotta love the Marines. I'm sure I'll figure it out. There's always nap time and early, early mornings and late nights right.

I have an everyday religion that works for me. Love yourself first, and everything else falls into line.

I did the crop in August and I have to tell you I didn't even get my scrapbook stuff out - I was too busy reading all the posts and playing the games and stuff - it was a blast!

Welcome to ACOT!! So glad you found us.
The crops here are great fun with loads to do. I get prepared for them by:
1. Making sure my scrappy supplies is in order
2. Complete the shopping for any classes I want to participate in (the class supply lists will be coming up over the next few weeks)
3. Have plenty of adhesive
4. Decide on what I plan to do (which classes, how many challenges, how many fast scraps, which bingo games)
5. If I'm playing any bingo games I get my list of words to the host (again the bingo games/instructions will show up in the next few weeks) and print out a copy for myself
Hope you have lots of fun with us!

Hiya Cathy!
Where in NC are you located? I'm in the Raleigh/Durham area.

If life gives you lemons, go find an annoying person with paper cuts.
