how we play this game:

Earning Points: (each item worth one point)
  • doing any ACOT challenge--if combining challenges, count each as a separate point
  • posting your project to the ACOT gallery
  • 1 point for each item used from the Stash List--maximum 10 points available per project
  • 1 point for any project not related to an ACOT challenge (i.e. challenges from other groups, cards or home decor, just for fun projects, etc.  if you make multiples, such as cards or bag toppers for a party, count points for each one.  any questions, please ask!)

April stash list, provided by Retiree3/Donna.  Thank you so much Donna!*

1. Emboss at least 1 item on your project.

2. Use 6 or more circles. One circle must be decorated with at least 2 items.

3. Use 5 or more pattern papers. 1 paper must have polka dots, 1 must have stripes, and one must have flowers. The other 2
    pieces are your choice.

4. Spring is Here! Use 2 or more flowers.

5. Use at least 1 chipboard and decorate it .

6. Use these colors on your project- teal, red, yellow, and a color of your choice.

7. Use 2 or more frames

8. I love mixed media! Use 2 or more products on your project. Ex. Gesso, modeling paste, mist, paints, inks, etc.

9. Add at least 1 die cut from any type of die cut machine.

10. One of your embellishments must be handmade.

Rules:
  • NO DOUBLE DIPPING!  each item on the stash list counts for its own point.  if you use a chipboard frame, you must count it as chipboard (#5) or frame (#7), for instance.
  • everyone is responsible for keeping track of their own points and reporting them to their captain in a timely fashion at the end of the month
  • *ONE stash list substitution per project is allowed.  Must be a comparable substitute and you must list what you used--if you have questions about what a comparable sub might be, please ask.  you can't just count a point for something else, it must make sense.
  • HAVE FUN!!
any questions, please ask here in the thread or PM me or Flasher.  for those that don't know, I work overnights and sleep during the day.  I'll get back to you, but it may not be super quickly.

Question on #1 - emboss... is this heat embossing or dry embossing or either?

Re: April Team Challenge Info Thread
Wow, this is going to be hard list for me. I have one embossing folder, no chipboard, flowers are very sparse for me, I don't use frames (not sure I even have any, LOL), I have no mixed media except ink. Yikes! LOL

Re: April Team Challenge Info Thread
Since we can't double dip, I may find it difficult to do 6 circles AND/OR 5 patterned papers.

i think in this instance (if you mean making circles out of pp) it's not double dipping.  sort of like last month's list with tags and journaling, perfectly ok to journal on the tag.

you're welcome  😊 i always struggle with this too!  last month, i can't tell you how many times i started to use a polka dot stencil and thought ooh, 2 in one and had to remind myself that no, it's either one or the other.

you could always make circles from cardstock, use stamps, enamel dots or other round embellishments, draw circles, etc.  just a few more ideas  😊
