Welcome to the first Taylor Swift challenge of the new year! After being on tour for two years straight Taylor has stated to is taking a break for the year, but I still have my fingers crossed for new music or one of her last two album rereleases. We will have to see!
This photo is from the Eras tour on the Folklore set. I love the contrast of her green dress against the wood and would serve as great color palette inspiration for a future page!
The month's challenge is to create a project with a woodgrain background. The woodgrain can be any color as long as it is the whole background.
Here are some examples and you can really see how different colors can change the whole mood!
Participants:
This can be combined with one monthly challenge that allows combining.
Must be a new creation. No back linking old projects.
Scrapbook layouts, cards, arts journal pages etc. welcome!
Multiple entries are allowed.
Must post to this thread by 1/31/25.
If you have any questions, either post your questions here in this thread or send me a pm.
One lucky winner of this challenge will (chosen randomly via random.org) receive a $5 ACOT gift card.
Have fun and I can't wait to see what you create.

Oh! Lovely! I love this challenge - I have a bunch of woodgrain that I am always hoarding for the "perfect" page. They should all be the perfect page LOL!
Happy Scrapping!

Isn't that the truth?? I have so much paper that I've somehow deemed "too pretty" to use! This sounds like a future challenge to use that one item you keep saving!!! Great idea

I love wood-grain and I am so motivated to use them more (because I keep buying packs but using only slivers!). Can’t wait to get started!
I just bought a brand new pad of 12x12 woodgrain paper so this is perfect!
Love this as I found several sheets while cleaning this past weekend! Great timing!
