Been stalking the Board, holding my breath when I saw the weekly sketch and card challenges get posted. I need to put on my thinking cap for the left side. TY TY TY for these prompts - makes art journaling even more fun for newbies!

Totally agree! I'm really enjoying the Art Journal prompts, it's new for me too, and just plain fun. Messing with inks, stamps, stencils, right up my alley!

YES, I'm LOVING these challenges, too! Art journaling is awesome!
I’m ready to photograph my pages but how do you combat warping? I have tried lightly spraying, closing the book and clamping it shut, and the page STILL curls up a bit in the corners. It’s driving me batty! (And making it harder to photograph!)
I guess with enough washi tape, you can make any pages stay down! Here’s my submission

I use these clips on my art journal pages when taking photos since my books are pretty full. You can clip them to the very edge of the page and you won't see them when you crop the photo. Also, I find thicker art journal pages that can take a lot of mixed media don't curl. I like Dina Wakley journals and Ranger's Dylusions journals for that purpose.

Bull clips! I remember these from waaa-say back when and I think my dad has a drawer of them. GREAT idea (and low profile - I didn’t want a big ole clip showing when I post). TY TY and happy holidays!Nana01 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 25, 2024 9:46 am
