December 2024 Taylor Swift Challenge

And just like that, we've reached the last Taylor Swift challenge of 2024! I'm so grateful for all of you who have participated these last 12 months and have had a blast hosting them! I plan to continue this challenge into 2025 if you all continue participating. I still have so many ideas for challenges to come!
Did you know Taylor grew up on a Christmas tree farm in Pennsylvania? It's true! She wrote a song about it.
The month's challenge is to
add a Christmas tree to your project (not just one in a photo.) If Christmas is not something you celebrate, then you can add a winter tree of your choice! That's it! Nice and simple for the busy month of December.
Here is an example of a page I made a while back using a Christmas tree embellishment and tree-print paper.

one monthly challenge that allows combining.
Must be a new creation. No back linking old projects.
Scrapbook layouts, cards, arts journal pages etc. welcome!
Multiple entries are allowed.
Must post to this thread by 12/31/24.
If you have any questions, either post your questions here in this thread or send me a pm.
One lucky winner of this challenge will (chosen randomly via random.org) receive a $5 ACOT gift card.
Have fun and I can't wait to see what you create.

I’m not sure what a winter tree of my choice means. Must it be an embellishment ? Or can it be a photo of a tree in winter? How about a palm tree since many people head to warm climates during the winter? Please don’t say Hanukkah bush because it’s not really a thing and a term that I find offensive.

A palm tree works if you live somewhere warm or take a holiday trip to somewhere tropical. When I think "winter tree" I think pine or fir but I know that may not be true for everyone. If you think oak or eucalyptus or willow, bring that to your project! I want to make sure everyone can participate if they choose.
The tree shouldn't just be the photo used on your project but added some other way whether that be an embellishment, patterned paper, stamp, stencil, or even one that you draw yourself. Hope this helps!

My 4yo and 2yo DGDs LOVE Bluey. I bought these matching Bluey pjs for them - and a pair for their baby sister - because they love matching. Little did I know, they are actually Christmas pjs! I just saw cute pjs decorated with Bluey and Bingo wearing crowns - like 2 sisters playing dress-up, in a warm climate where there happen to be palm trees. Turns out that Bluey is set in Australia (who knew?) and since Australia is in the Southern Hemisphere, Christmas is celebrated in the summer! And the crowns? Apparently, it is a UK tradition to wear Christmas crowns. Well - you learn something new everyday. So here are my 3 Jewish DGDs wearing Bluey Christmas PJs. And of course, I included a "Christmas" palm tree!
