Congratulations!!

Hello Cherries,

Mix it up challenge is my tribute to all things mixed media. Cards, junk journaling, tags, scrapbook pages, mini albums, and so much more! Whatever you can throw a medium on like paint, paste, mica sprays, water paint, texture paste, embossing powder, etc. The key is to add texture and using products that you need to mix it up with a paintbrush, water, palette knife, sprays and even your hands. Messy is good.  This months challenge is to use this example with all these fun background pieces. Grab from the color pallette and components from the images. for your background. 

When I create a mix media project. I like to have my color palette ready. Other than that I just let my creativity go from there. I cant wait to see where your creativity takes you. 






Requirements for this challenge is to have
-mix media mediums
- with or without a photo
- title
- card or layout or traveler notebook or tags
or any thing that you can put mix media on
- must be a new project
- must use the colors from the image provided
- grab components from the image (example flowers, big title, stamped image, lettering, black and white components, techniques etc)

ONE entry per person
May combine with only ONE other challenge that allows it
Deadline is August 31, 2024 midnight
$5 ACOT gc awarded to one random winner

I was so drawn to this I look forward to seeing all the amazing posts.

Here is my art journal page. I was inspired by the pinks and blues in your color palette. Lots of layers with stencils, acrylic paint, ink sprays, charcoal, distressed crayons and a stabilo pencil.

Gorgeous textures!!

I used the dark purply blue, pink, and yellow colors for inspiration. I used shimmer inks to stencil and stamp on the tag. I also used a distress oxide spray. I got a nature vibe from the images in the example, so I stenciled a flower and stamped a butterfly. 

This is for a page in my junk journal. I used mist, gesso, Watercolor crayons, and paint. I stamped a leaf image at several places on the page.
