Before reading any further, make sure you have completed step 2.

You should now have a full-size background paper, 2 strips, 1 or more photos, and a journaling block. Adhere both strips, all the photos, and the journaling block onto the background paper. Add a title that uses at least 2 fonts. Title may be pre-made, may use alpha stickers or thickers, may be stamped, die-cut, hand-drawn or any other method you would like to use to make a title as long as it uses at least 2 fonts. Adhere the title to the page. That's it.

Here is my example, my title "wine tasting details"  uses a piece of ephemera for the first 2 words and a chipboard word for the 3 word, there are actually 3 fonts. You can see that I pleated my ribbon (strip2) a little at the bottom.

optional- you may mat your photos in white only if they weren’t  printed with a border

Rules:
  • Do not save your space and do not edit your post. If you make mistake in your post, just post again.
  • If you have any questions, just ask
  • When you have finished this step, post an image of your page so far into this thread.
  • Step 4 will be posted next Monday July 22. You must post to this thread before step 4 to get an entry into the draw for this step. If you miss the deadline, you can still play along, just make sure you post step 3 to this thread before continuing to step 4.
  • Do not add anything else.
  • Combining will allowed but not until step 4.

Louise, we are not allowed to use photo mats. Correct?

I didn’t think about that since my photos were printed with white borders. How about, you may only mat the photos in white?

Yay! So glad I came back and read this before adhering everything. My pics were kind of getting lost. I think a white mat would help - thanks!

Every month I struggle with getting to all the challenges and layouts I want to do, so I'm shocked that I've done the last 2 steps to this challenge on the day they were posted.  Maybe I need things broken down into small steps.  Anyway, thanks for the inspiration!

Ok, you saw my photos and background paper which is primarily ivory, both the photos and paper. White will be too stark, ivory will clash or not show up at all. So if I don't choose to add any extra paper, can I mat in the color of my solid strip?

I’m going to say no on this. Sorry.

No no, don't be sorry, I just wanted to ask. I'll go mat-less, no problem.

The shiny sticker letters did not photograph well but the word family is one font and the weekend getaway words are a different font.

I thought I already posted, but it isn't here.
Here is mine:  I glued it all down and added the title with two different fonts.

Are we allowed to crop our photos this late in the game?

I’m going to say no on this one. I really hadn’t thought through all of these things. Each time I do this I try to be more thorough.

Here is my finished step.  I put a copy of the journal box where I plan to stick it, but since I am doing digi and my journal box is handmade, I will actually print this out and stick the journal box on it at the end.  (That is why you see the white square edge under the torn paper from my scan of the journal box. ;) )
