Hello Cherries,

Mix it up challenge is my tribute to all things mixed media. Cards, junk journaling, tags, scrapbook pages, mini albums, and so much more! Whatever you can throw a medium on like paint, paste, mica sprays, water paint, texture paste, embossing powder, etc. The key is to add texture and using products that you need to mix it up with a paintbrush, water, palette knife, sprays and even your hands. Messy is good.  This months challenge is to use this example. Grab from the color pallette and three other components from the image from Misty. I love all the fun colors and textures.

When I create a mix media project. I like to have my color palette ready. Other than that I just let my creativity go from there. I cant wait to see where your creativity takes you. Here is Misty's beautiful layout.




Requirements for this challenge is to have
-mix media mediums
- with or without a photo
- title
- card or layout or traveler notebook or tags
or any thing that you can put mix media on
- must be a new project
- must use the colors from the image provided
- grab three components from the image (example flowers, big title, stamped image, lettering, black and white components, etc)

ONE entry per person
May combine with only ONE other challenge that allows it
Deadline is July 31, 2024 midnight
$5 ACOT gc awarded to one random winner

This was a challenge for me. lol!
 
I used ink and papers to match the colors. For the 3 inspiration elements... 1. I used rub-on swirls instead of the swirly baker's twine. 2. I used a circle. Her's was blue and mine is pink. 3. I used a butterfly (on the pink label).

I took inspiration from the flowers, black and white elements (Washi) , multiple layers, and I used animals instead of butterflies! I had a wonderful time working on this!
For mixed media I have gessos, water colors, acrylic paint watered down, inks, paint markers and sharpies! Thank you!

here's mine, I was inspired by the colors, the butterflies, the splatters, the tags, the flowers

combined with the manufacture challenge.

OK, to be totally honest, I made this card and then went looking for a challenge to enter. Forgive me for doing it backwards, but I think it fits. I used the teal color from the palette. The inspiration items are family, sparkle and round sequins.

The mixed media items are paper, foil, vellum, heat embossing, gems, and trinket. This birthday card is going to a special niece.

I think I did this right??  
I used the same color palette and the other elements that I used were sequins, the Large title, the color splatters, and twine.  Thank you for the challenge and for using my layout as inspiration!!  I am TRULY HONORED!!!!!
