Welcome to the first month of our Team Challenge, how exciting!  Thank you so much to Leslie for agreeing to be the first co-captain of this adventure!!

To split all the entries into teams, I used the very high-tech method of drawing the names from a hat and they’re as follows: (apologies if i screwed up any names!)

 Earning points:  each item worth 1 point

• Doing any ACOT challenge (if combining challenges, count each challenge as a separate point)
  
• Posting your project to the ACOT gallery
  
• 1 point for each item from the stash list-- you may use these products on every single project you create and the object is to use as many as possible on each project to earn the most points. 
  

Here is the stash list for July:

1. Stamping with ink/paint
   
2. Wood veneer
   
3. Washi/washi stickers
   
4. Decorative brads
   
5. Acetate
   
6. Metal dies/electronic cutter
   
7. Sprinkly bits (sequins, enamel dots, bling, etc.)
   
8. Flat stickers, including alphas
   
9. Vicki Boutin product
   
10. Handwritten journaling—must be more than just a date; no handwriting fonts
    

Here's an example of one of my LOs and how I would score it using this list:



did i do any challenges?  yes, 2 of them:  2 points
did i upload to the gallery?  yes:  1 point
stash list items:  metal die (top border piece):  1 point
                         sprinkly bits (enamel dots):  1 point
                         flat stickers (tab on right side of photo has a sticker):  1 point
                         Vicki Boutin product (lots from one of her paperie packs):  1 point
total points:  7

Don’t forget to keep track of your points!  At the end of the month your team captain will be compiling all the points so we can determine the winning team for the month.  From past experience, I can confidently say it’s much easier to jot your points down as you earn them rather than going through your gallery later and trying to count them all up. 

There is a thread here for sharing your projects if you choose.  Have fun and may the scrappiest team win! 

 

This will be fun! I love that you have including stamping and handwritten journaling - that will be 2 extra points for every page I do! And you are encouraging me to use my huge Vicki Boutin stash -thanks!

This is awesome! I'm so excited to do it this month! I love the stash list - gonna pull that stuff out ASAP! I have Vicki Boutin stamps and have to decide if it's one or the other LOL!

my buying a ton of new Vicki B stuff lately may or may not have influenced the list    glad that you'll be bashing some of yours too!

there's lots of new Vicki B in the store...if you bought paper you wouldn't have to decide

Oh, I definitely have paper and other thingies of hers! I guess I'll do the stamps as stamps. I'm starting to get more into stamping since I bought an acrylic block and am no longer using CD cases ROFL! (I need a bigger block though...I guess it never ends haha!)

If I used a Vicki Boutin puffy sticker can it be for both or just one? If not, if I used 2 Vicki Boutin puffy stickers, I assume that would be ok to count one for each?

if you're talking about double dipping, no bueno.  i didn't specify, sorry.  something is either one or the other.  however, if you used 2 different vicki products and count them as 2 different things (like her washi stickers and her paper) that's ok.  does that make sense?  no saying the large purple enamel dot is an enamel dot but the small one is vicki b.

Are puffy stickers counted as flat stickers?  Just clarifying that point, too, because I don't see puffy stickers on the list and to me they aren't the same.

no i think puffy stickers are definitely a different item.  that's why i said flat stickers instead of just stickers.

Stamps... I think you mean like the ones with ink... but could postage stamps could be counted as well?

i did mean stamps with ink and i'll change that in the list.  postage stamps will have to wait for another list
