Hi cherries! I’m back with a brand new challenge idea! I was feeling a little stale with my options for the Country Song challenges, so I took a month off and decided to find inspiration from my 5 year old! He’s all about his Nintendo Switch these days, so our inspiration will be coming from his favorite games!

First up, we have “Hot Wheels Unleashed 2” - each month, I will provide you with a color palette inspired by the cover of the video game case.

Here’s our first one:



For the challenge, you have two options!

1) Use the color palette to create your layout about any theme/topic.

2) Create a layout about something with WHEELS. This can be any colors you choose.

For an extra entry in the prize drawing, combine both options on one layout.

Here’s my example! I used the colors to highlight photos of Wyatt and his hot wheels! He’s got quite a collection!

2. New Layouts Only. Open to both paper & digital, single or double page layouts.
3. Limit of (3) entries per Cherry.
4. Can be combined with (1) other monthly challenge.
5. I’ll use a random number generator to select a winner for a $5 ACOT Gift Card!

Yay! I wanted to keep it as open ended as possible, but still keep it possible to do a layout about the actual game/characters!

No, as long as the layout is made up of colors in the palette it doesn't need to be all 5! I often find myself taking colors out of palettes too!

OMG Brandi!  My first grandson was all OVER Hot Wheels when he was growing up!  He had a LOT of them and he loved playing with them.  I know I still have some pictures that I haven't scrapped (almost 20 years late!) and this will be PERFECT for them!  GREAT challenge idea!!!!
