With all the busy-ness of the crop, I never got my May color challenge posted, so for you ladies who aren't scrapped out, yet, here you go!


May is my father's birthday month, and this year is his 70th. So, in honor of that, I am going to have you use one of his favorite colors - brown! There are tons of shades of brown from light tan to deep cocoa, so pick at least 3 shades and scrap away. You may use one other color as an accent, but 3/4 of the layout must be shades of brown.

Brown is not usually my color of choice to scrap with, but you make it so appealing!

Here's mine done with shades of brown and black alpha rub-ons for the title. Also submitted for the Take 2 challenge this month. This was a perfect challenge to use a sepia tone heritage photo of my grandmother (far left) with her 4 sisters. I will add a date later when I find out about when the photo was taken.

I used a light tan, orangish brown, and a dark chocolate brown. I add some teal in with it. I used BB Mama-razzi2 collection kit along with some fun punchinella
