Here's my layout and I was inspired by the polka dots, hearts, and flowers.  Even the cake inspired me since this picture is of my youngest granddaughter whose birthday was on January 31st.  We all went to dinner for a birthday celebation that night.

Bonus:   I used the quote for an extra entry.

Thank you so much Sandy, I did not do the bonus requirements though, the background is dark brown, not black.  The border and flowers are black but not the background.

Inspired by flowers, the striped paper reminded me of the texture in the lower left image, and i included a heart in the upper right like the heart on the spoon in the photo.

This challenge had Basic Grey Bittersweet written all over it!!!

My inspirations were the flower, heart and the cuddling kittens - that photo is the focal point of the mood board - and I made the cuddling girls in the center photo the focal point as well!
