I had a blast doing this layout! I've become obsessed with manipulating shadows in Photoshop and had so much fun trying to get this to look as realistic as possible. I have 129 layers! Thanks for the great challenge Brandy! It was so fun to do!
Layout created for the July/august pet challenge: make a bulletin board.
Total points for team Stinkerbelle: 13 (ACOT challenges [pet + 100 papers], upload, tile alpha, twine, enamel dots, label, border punch, speciality paper [punched vellum circles], chipboard [stars], something old: glitter bow, something new, foam banner [beneath lowest pic], wordy bits).

Getting this in under the wire!
My DGKs often ask about our cats that they have known, or those who came and went before them, when they see pictures or other momentous of them. So, this challenge to create a bulletin board was perfect!! I decided to create one featuring all the cats my husband and I have shared our homes and hearts with. (Then once I was done, I was so in love with it, I decided to turn it into a shadow box.)
I used:
1. "Textured" looking background paper (it's actually real thin cork!)
2. Washi tape, Ribbon and/or Twine - twine
3. "Fasteners" - clothespins.
4. 2 or more photos - 12!
5. 1 or more quote and/or phrase - one at top and one on each 'clothesline'
6. design your layout to make it resemble a bulletin board or a cork board - done!

Layout for the July/august pet challenge: bulletin board.
I’ve used a real sheet of cork, and made a woodgrain paper frame. Used ‘pins’ to stick the pictures to the background, making it seem like its a real bulletin board.
Total points for team Stinkerbelle: 12 (ACOT challenges [pet + 100 papers], upload, twine, enamel dots, label, border punch, speciality paper [silver stripe vellum], chipboard [frame on top picture], something old: cork, something new: pink tab, wordy bits).
