Re: May/June Graphic Design Challenge
I was inspired by the Sargento image. The "cheese sticks" = taupe paper strips; the slant of the sharp cheddar image = my photo; the black strip with the title = the thick paper strip with all the words

I was inspired by the 3 packs of nuts at the bottom so for my layout I used three movie posters instead.

I was inspired by the GS Cookie Box. The round tags represent the Thin Mint cookies! I combined this with the Carmen San Diego Challenge.

My inspiration was literally the girl scout cookie box. It made me eager to scrap my Girl Scout troop recent cookie sales season! Cookie Dealer : Gallery : A Cherry On Top

This is such a fun challenge! I used the pistachios packaging for the design on this card. I used 3 tags and included a concave rectangle shape on each one to mimic the pistachio bags. I placed the sentiment and butterfly at the top like the packaging, also.

This one kinda "wrote itself" When I got to these pictures from when Wyatt was 6 months old. That "oreo cookie" teether was his absolute favorite. Oh....yes, I used the Oreo cookie package as my inspiration. Also submitting to the June Double Page challenge (sketch #2)

inspired by the color yellow first, which led me to my background paper. i have dotty paper representing the candies, the dog's name is Maggie May (M&M) and i have a brown title outlined in white, atop a bit of yellow. combined with 3 in a row challenge.

combined with 3 in a row challenge. my inspiration besides the colors was the word "bits"=sprinkly bits a/k/a sequins, the blue banner crossing over the cheese and the circle inspired the sketch i worked with and the splashing cheese made me think of water.

One from me. I was inspired by the Toasteds crackers box to cut my photos into circles and use paintbrush strokes under my journaling. I used the same, basic layout, as well.

Entry #2. This pistachios bag has been very popular! For inspiration I used the fan look of the 3 bags, dark background, and I centered my title. I combined with the Manufacturer Challenge!

So - I was inspired by the Girl Scout Cookies. I hope this counts!
I don't have any girl scouts, but my DGS is a cub scout - and instead of cookies they sell popcorn! Selling popcorn was a difficult thing for my DGS to do so the "what a girl can do" also rang true for me - obviously with boy substituted for girl. And finally the list of all the things the cookie program does, also spoke to me when applied to my DGS: goal setting & people skills the most. Anyhow - here is my layout.

Re: May/June Graphic Design Challenge
I chose to work with the Snyder's pretzel bag.
I used a red background with some yellow and added some scatterings of stars and Nuvo drops.

Re: May/June Graphic Design Challenge
Here is my take on the challenge. I used the Thin Mint box as inspiration. I took the cookie with the bite out of it, the sash, and the scalloped tabs on the right side of the pic!
