I love this challenge Sher! I used the saying "Three Dog Night" for this pic I took of my girls with dd's dog one night while he was staying with us. I also used the Olive Garden logo from my Graphic Design Challenge for color inspiration. I had a lot of fun with this!
OMGosh Barb, I so love this, and the lime is lovely with the puppies, I LOVE how you did this from beginning to end. Maybe when Scully, Mimi, and Abby are all together again, I'll be able to steal this! Thanks for doing the challenge!!!pawprints wrote:I love this challenge Sher! This is a perfect challenge for a photo I took today! My cat truly is AS SNUG AS A BUG IN A RUG!

I love the fun of watching my cats, and yours is no exception. She sure did settled down in deep into the rug!! Beautiful photos and you used one of my favorite way of showcasing those photos - three squares and a large!! Thanks for doing my challenge!!Lollybert wrote:This is a perfect challenge for a photo I took today! My cat truly is AS SNUG AS A BUG IN A RUG!

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO in love with your colors, and this is a perfect example how bright colors do NOT take away from a photo!!! LOVELY !!! Thanks so much for doing my challenge and your cat IS the cat's meow!!!CarrieG wrote:I went with the saying-- you are the cats meow
Hey, your layout, your choice to not add the words if you so choose!! I always count your layout, ALWAYS! And this is stunning, and I see where you got your inspiration from the photo!!! Thanks for doing my challenge!!
Hey, no bribing the judge!!!! LOL!! You know if it's Jeffrey, I love that dog!!! His personality comes thru to me on all the photos you post, and the REAL saying is Jeffrey is SHER's best friend. . . LOL Thanks for doing the challenge, Jeffrey!!!
Thanks so much for the great idea for this challenge! I used 2 phrases "happy as a clam" and "crocodile tears" to describe my daughter at the age of four. I also used the sketch provided. I had so much fun doing this layout, and it has turned out to be one of my favorites!

HOW VERY clever - especially the "Crocodile tears" which all mothers put up with!! OMG. How funny! I'm loving the layering and the dimension of your layout - and the colors are adorable!! Thanks for playing along!!utmom wrote:Thanks so much for the great idea for this challenge! I used 2 phrases "happy as a clam" and "crocodile tears" to describe my daughter at the age of four. Here's my entry! What a fun challenge! I used one of the Treasure Map journal cards for the title: A Whale of A Tale! These are pics from 2001 of DS playing with his whale toy on the balcony one summer day. We don't have a pet so does the whale toy count as an animal LOL? Shiver me timbers LOL! I combined with the Rewind challenge. (May/June Graphic Design - swashes)
Happy Scrapping!

I used a quote by Jack Hanna about zoo animals: "Zoo animals are ambassadors for their cousins in the wild." I am combining with the title challenge.

Oh if only those kind of toys entertained them as much now!! LOL Thanks for doing my challenge!scrappinmom99 wrote:Here's my entry! What a fun challenge! I have NEVER heard this quote before, but what a wonderful saying, and I would expect nothing less of Jack Hanna. Thanks so much - and I do mean this !!! - for sharing this. You also did a wonderful job with the page layouts, mastering a two page layout that I so badly suck at!! Thanks again for doing my challenge!hsblair wrote:I used a quote by Jack Hanna about zoo animals: "Zoo animals are ambassadors for their cousins in the wild." I am combining with the title challenge.

This was such a fun twist on the pet challenge. I really liked it! I chose the phrase "A fish out of water" as my title.
I love how you used so many things to make the layout beachy that you'd never consider on a beach layout. The wire waves are my favorite! Thanks for doing my challenge.rachel0017 wrote:This was such a fun twist on the pet challenge. I really liked it! I chose the phrase "A fish out of water" as my title.
Holy crap!! You put a ton of work into this layout, it's fit for a magazine! I love all the stitching the details, amazing!! Thanks for such a wonderful entry! And oh, btw, my lilac Siamese loves to do that to me. He does NOT like confined, either. LOL Great page.HeatherS1974 wrote:Here is mine, Thanks for the fun challenge
