My layout is about my husband... who is awaiting a heart transplant. This picture was taken about 6 months ago before he got really sick. He won't let me take his picture now... he feels so bad. Thanks for looking! (Didn't mean to sound so negative! We are really excited about him getting a new heart - sometime in the near future.)

My layout is about my husband... who is awaiting a heart transplant. This picture was taken about 6 months ago before he got really sick. He won't let me take his picture now... he feels so bad. Thanks for looking! (Didn't mean to sound so negative! We are really excited about him getting a new heart - sometime in the near future.)

This layout is super cute. However part of the rules and details are to "Creat a masculine layout with no flowers." This doesn't qualify.

When I saw that you had used chalks (?) to edge your papers, one of my face hands-on techniques, I knew I had to comment about it. I think that chalking/inking the edges of papers provides even more dimensions to layouts than shadowing does when using digi (my preferred method) scrapping. Love it!

In my digi scrapping, I've found so many artists that use gears in their kits, and I love them! There are so many different uses for gears, and you've definitely used them to advantage here. Plus, the boys are cuties!
