I can't figure this out; am I just getting old or are there more rude drivers out there?Since yesterday when I had to get my DD; There were people racing in and out of parking lots, not stopping at the end of rows, just pulling out.of rows without a care of cross traffic.I just now got back from the drug store and it was the same way. Hello, doesn't pay attention when they are on the road. I'd love to run into one of them but I almost always have the boys with me and won't risk them getting hurt!!

Everyday when I leave work to pick up Quincie from school, I have to drive pass a catholic school. Those mothers don't even look when they pull out of the parking lot. A couple of weeks ago, I really thought there was going to be an accidents. I wish I can leave work ten minutes earlier.
Lately I have been seeing more people not using directionals, dh and I joke they must be optional accessories. Today in a busy parking lot I was going slow around the corner because people dart out of the side I was by when all over a sudden some lady speeds up behind me, rushes to the side and almost has a head on collision with someone else.
Don't get me started. If you look, you'll see that most of the time, the idiots are too busy yapping on their damn cellphones to pay attention!!!!
Lately I have been seeing more people not using directionals, dh and I joke they must be optional accessoriesLOL! I say the same exact thing. Must have been an option when they bought the car. Seems people drive as if everyone else is paying attention and they don't have to.

Maybe they are out of blinker fluid?

I never expect people in CA to use Blinkers, in fact, I don't trust them even if they do.

I live in Fla., the land of creative drivers. I find the younger one especially SUV and truck drivers are the worst. They can't be bothered obeying the rules. I went to Az last week (we had booked the trip using our points six months ago) and my husband was shocked when everyone pulled over to the right lane and actually stopped when an ambulance came down the road.
Yesterday I was inches away from hitting some young college girl. She switched lanes without even bothering to look! It didn't even faze her when I honked my horn and slammed on my brakes. Well, I ended up passing her up, and the *itch was on her cell phone!!! Seems people drive as if everyone else is paying attention and they don't have to. I agree with Shannon. There's no more defensive driving.
Yes, they are. And, the more gadgets that keep being invented and the busier people get, the worse it will become. But, at the same time, there are also more impatient drivers. You know . . . the kind of impatient driver who is angry at you for doing 33 mph in a 35 when she could be doing 35 mph? You know, the one who rides your bumper and blows the horn because you're "dumb".That's why I go out as little as possible!
Well, as I posted somewhere else a few days ago, I was hit by a car on 12/13 when crossing in the crosswalk with the light, so yes, I would say they ARE.LOLHopefully, in addition to being dumber, they are also richer. Someone's got to pay for the dental implants I need, right?
