Today dh is going to get the results of the kidney function tests he had last week. He has had multiple surgeries over the last 20 years for multiple kidney stones and has been suffering with the stones again. It's been so bad he had to go on disability until the problem gets resolved. The stones are a rare type, and the result of a medical condition he has.
The urologist says that if the kidney function has declined he wants to remove the kidney. My husband does not want to rely on only one kidney that might also start to make stones. He is very nervous about this. Of course, if the urologist says to remove the kidney we will seek another opinion.
I believe in the power of prayer. It will help us get through this tough time.
We got the results. Kidney function is within normal limits, so no kidney removal. Dh is schedule to have the stones removed on 11/13. We are very relieved.
