Are you a praise snob? I have a hard time leaving praise for those who "post and run". ETA: And by that I mean people who post lo's, but don't participate here on the site.
On a molecular level, I'm very busy.
You mean when the poster gives no description or when you don't recognize the poster?
No. I don't post praise regularly at the gallery but when ever I go there, I just praise whatever I like irrespective of whose work it is. But on the other hand even though I've been here long enough on the mb, I don't post my own work in the gallery either. May have a couple. But I'm too lazy to post my stuff.
Hmmm... so THAT's why I don't have any praise comments from you, eh Tracy? J/K! I haven't posted anything in ages! Guess that could be a reason why I don't have any recent comments!!
No. I mean people who post their layouts here, but don't participate in the site.Mom--I'm sorry, I don't make it over the paper gallery as much as I should.

Ah... no worries! Us paste-eaters will forgive you... as long as you continue to ply us with those awesome Caturday posts!
I know what you mean Tracy. I kind of mentioned this once - about how the new people should participate in leaving comments.I have been known to leave a lot of comments for everyone (I was praiseaholic last month), however, I noticed during the last crop, that a lot of new people were posting LO's and not leaving any comments for anyone (post whores??).I felt a little twinge of not leaving any comments for some of them. This month I have been so busy with a very sick Dad and traveling 2 1/2 hours each way to visit him in the hospital, that I haven't gone into the gallery for a while - but then I haven't posted any LO's either! And I'm sorry Tracy, but I hardly ever get to the digital gallery - but I know your stuff is awesome!!!
I kinda know what you mean....I havent been here that long and i have already started to recognize the regulars, lol. I post my layouts here cause I like to find out what others think of my work....but if you are not talking to everyone, why bother to get their opinion?

Sweetie, it's not a problem!! I'm sorry you're going through such a rough time with your dad. It must be very stressful for you. (((((hugs)))))I'm really talking about those who don't even post on the mb's you know? And I agree, you should always share the love.

Thanks for clarifying Tracy!I typically praise what catches my eye. Most of the time I recognize the name as a regular though.Jan - post whore!!! LMAO.
I'm the same way, I tend to give comments on the layouts that catch my eye or have something on them I really like. But still, with this group of people, that tends to be alot! hahaha!I find when a new person comes in and posts a bunch of stuff but I don't see or hear from them in other places, I'll still leave a comment, but it's usually just one or two. Until I see their name come up a bit more, I tend to veer away from them.Sometimes I think, well if I leave them a comment or two, perhaps that will give them the confidence to join us or even praise some stuff. But I dunno if it really works out that way.
I try to leave praise for all digi submissions, just cause. Although I missed quite a few while I was sick. Wish I had more time in the day to get over to the paper side. But I know what you mean, Tracy. That's the exact reason I have a hard time posting to other sites, because that's all I'm doing there.

Since I can't be in the gallery all the time to leave love, I stick to the people from the board. I don't post on "post and run" people, for the most part.
I personally comment on whatever catches my eye....but sometimes I just don't get into the gallery, so sometimes I might go a couple of days without leaving any comments and I don't stress over going back more than a couple of pages to see what's been posted lately~

tracy, I was looking at your stuff last night and I think it's great, but that clown LO I just love it. I ventured into digi world last night... this surfer girl LO caught my attention. It was way cool.
Which one? Show it to us!!! We love to be inspired!ETA: Thank you very much! I ran a diffuse filter on that photo. I really liked it and wanted to scrap it, but it was a little out of focus. That gave it a more dreamy look so I was able to use it.

I tend to leave comments for whatever catches my eye. Sometimes at lunch I leave comments, but lately I've been inundated with work!!

I have been posting for about a month now....and it was moody inviting to come to the mb that got me here alot more....maybe inviting someone is the way to go.

I'm with Sarah on this one...I try to post on all of them, mostly because I would like to see them stick around. Sometimes there is a language barrier so people don't really feel comfortable being in the forums, but they are still awesome scrappers and I WANT to see their stuff. Sometimes they are just popping in to show off new products, and I don't mind that either.
