I just made some Fudge!Ingredients:(1) 16 oz. store bought container of frosting (I used vanilla)1 12 oz. bag of Baking Chips (I used Nestle Semi-Sweet)Instructions:1.  Spread frosting in the bottom of an 8x8 baking dish, it doesn't have to be neat. 2.  Dump the chocolate chips over the top. 3.  Throw it in the MICROWAVE for 3 minutes on high. 4.  Take it out, mix thoroughly until all the chips seem to be melted and the mixture looks to be an even color. 5.  Let it cool.6. Cut into bite size pieces and enjoy!!!!

YES! You CAN!!! I am not Miss Betty Crocker when it comes to the kitchen and have NEVER attempted making fudge, that's all Jason (and he does make very good fudge!), but there is no way you can mess this up, Jamie! And with all those different flavor of frostings and chocolate chips, the possiblilites are ENDLESS!!!! Just think you make up 4 or 5 different flavors, make up little assorted tins or trays of fudge for relatives and they'll think you spent days in the kitchen!!

Does it sit up well? I tried making 4 batches of fudge using the condensed sweetened milk and choc chips...but it was gooey. =(

Yes, it does get pretty firm, just like the regular fudge. I let it sit out on the stove for awhile to cool down, then I put it in the fridge to finish setting up.

Famous last words....1.  Spread frosting in the bottom of an 8x8 baking dish, it doesn't have to be neat. Somehow this makes me laugh, I dunno why.I am trying this though.

If any of you try this, let me know what you think of it. It passed the "test" with dh, he says its pretty good. It does firm up really good in the fridge....almost too good... I cut myself trying to cut it! LOL But its not too hard either!

What kind of pan did you use? I made mine in my 8x8 glass baking dish and it comes out just fine. I let mine cool on the stove for a little while then I put it in the fridge, I didn't want the glass dish to break.

I made it today...YUMMMMY! Wish I had a different kind of frosting- used butter cream, it is still good though. I used a glass pan & it came out just fine. You could also melt it in a bowl & pour it in a buttered pan if you thought it might stick. I don't think it is quite as good as my betty crocker fudge recipe- but still very good, & fast & no mess! Thanks for sharing!!!!!
