Hey Ladies!Do any of you use the i.d. BareMinerals products? If so, what do you think of it? I'm considering it and would like any feedback before I put the money into it. They have a starter kit for $59.95. Thanks! UPDATE! - I've been using the Bare Minerals product for a week now and LOVE IT! Anyone who has thought about trying it - you definately should!!

Hello I have never posted on here before but normally just enjoy reading other people's posts. Maybe 2008 is the year for me to start posting?I have and use the BareMinerals and really like them. I dont have terrible skin to start with, however it is definitely not perfect either. Alot of people comment on how good my skin is, how smooth ect. I dont notice it so much but no one told me that prior to getting BE/BM.They are kind of addicting... I feel like always purchasing new brushes and eyeshawdows ect, but really have no need for them. The starter pack is plenty for me, I bought it in August and it isnt even 1/4 gone yet. I spend a fraction of what I used to spend on makeup on this because it lasts so long (that being said I dont wear tons, and not everyday either...) I find that for me the kit I purchased one of the colors matches me perfect in winter, when my skin is light, and the other color matches perfect in the summer when I have a tan.... maybe I just got lucky!I would recommend signing up for emails at sephora.com if you do not have a BE retailer near you... they often offer free shipping on purchases over $50, send out free gifts that you choose with purchases, and often run promotions on the BE as well. I will keep an eye on this thread if you have any questions.

Hi Jennifer!! Welcome to the board! You should post more often! :)Thanks for the information! I noticed on their website I didn't see an area so "shop." And I do not know of any retailers in my area ... so thank you for the website!

Does it stay on well? Doesn't fade in to your skin like others seem to?

Welcome! I use to use them but as I have gotten older I find my skin is to dry and even when I moisturize they still don't buff in and I find my nose gets stuffy. I too was addicted and do love their shadows.

try it!!!! I love it, have been using it for 3 years and will never go back to regular makeup ever again. You can also find their products at Sephoria shops. The makeup stays on, doesn't fade or wear off and doesn't feel cakey or heavy. I've fought bad skin since a teen and have been so happy with BareMinerals coverage and clean look.

I totally love BareMinerals. A friend got me hooked and then I got my mom and sister to use it. They also sell it at Ulta stores.

I love mine! I am very, very fair. Anytime I tried make up, I looked like a clown. BareMinerals is great. The starter kit is a good price, I'd definitely recommend it. Plus, you use so little of the stuff, it will last a looooong time. Supposedly the FDA makes them put an expiration date on their products, but that's just a technicality. They don't expire. That being said, I've tried a couple of their mascaras and did not like them all. They were clumpy. I wanted to like the mascaras, so I kept trying them. But each one clumped. One of BareMinerals good qualities is that they last so long. Well, with things like eye shadow, I like variety. I don't need something that will last a few years. So I've been buying my eyeshadows at
www.pureluxecosmetics.com/home.php Their samples are only a $1 and last awhile. Plus, if you don't like the color, you are only out a $1. I haven't tried any of their other products, so I don't know how they are. But I'm happy with their eye shadows.
