After reading jmo95's post I'm almost to embarrased to ask for prayers for me and my family. 2 Weeks ago last Saturday my DD came home with a rash which I soon diagnosed as Shingles. Well we knew that the boys would probably come down with the Chicken Pox and sure enough I knew Friday they both have them. They are only 3 and 5 with Autism Spectrum Disorders, yes both of them so there is no explaining. They are miserable, go into meltdowns if I try to put calamine lotion on them, I usually have to wait till Mama comes home to do it. I am not doing well right now either. So I'm asking if you could send a prayer or good vibes for us as we head into this journey. The boys have pox on their faced, in their mouths, one in his ear and the other in his nostril and right by the tear duct on one of his eyes,

I'm itchy just thinking about those poor boys!! Sending prayers! Hope everyone is on the mend soon!

If they like baths, maybe you could give them oatmeal baths...just let them play in it. HUGS!

Awwww... poor guys! The oatmeal bath suggestion would be one I'd suggest too! It'll relieve the itchiness and soothe their skin at the same time!

Poor guys! Oh and gals, too. I can remember when mine had the POX. You feel helpless..
