DD still loves the small chocolate pieces behind the doors that you open daily until Christmas. It is the only countdown we use.

As a child we always had an advent calendar....the paper kind.
Just finished making two for my brothers' families. Plans in the work to buy four more for the other side of the family for 2015 Christmas presents.
