the Voice for me - the judges on the idol are just annoying

American Idol

I got hooked on American Idol a few years back when David Cook won the competition. My mom and I though living in different states were able to share our interest in this season. After David Cook won American Idol, I did a layout with some of his pictures from the internet, "DC is HOT" LOL! I'll have to post it sometime.

The Voice....especially during the blind auditions.

I LOVE watching the Voice.

I love both. I have been an Idol fan since season 1, and I loved Steven Tyler and J Lo, but it is really starting to tick me off this season. I hate Nikki Minaj! Everything about her annoys me and she is wrecking the ratings, I think. My only issue with The Voice is that it is on when I am trying to watch/DVR two other shows, so I often miss it.

LOVE all of the judges. Adam Levine ohhhh my.. he is pretty cute. Don't tell the DH. Blake Shelton is a cute down home country boy... love him too!

BOTH, but I have not enjoyed Idol as much since the Randy/Simon/Paula years.... I think they should totally do a re-boot of that show w/the original judges. I just started watching the voice this season.

I used to watch Idol back in the day but lost interest a few years ago. I've never seen the Voice.

I dislike Idol so much I refuse to watch it even though I would love to watch Keith Urban. The Voice, however, I do enjoy.

Neither. I used to watch both but hated the bad auditions on Idol and the Voice got old after one season.

I love watching the voice. I like the way the coaches interact with each other. Makes a great show and the singers are all very talented and entertaining to watch.

Both!! (Is the dance show thread coming next, lol?) I used to say I'd only missed 1 Idol episode *ever* but I may be up to 3 or 4 now that we're in Season 11. I've also gone to the tour every year except 2 (sometimes driving from Indy to Chicago or Cincy when they don't come here!). I used to blog recaps but haven't done that the past few years. I don't miss Simon or Paula, wouldn't miss Randy if he left. Loved Steven, liked J'Lo, love Keith & Nikki (so cool that the producers let her get away w/saying things we viewers have thought for years!), bored by Mariah (the new Paula). They obviously wanted a female singer this year & didn't let any WGWG (white guy w/guitar) into Top 20 since they've won the last 5 seasons, so I've missed having strong male talent but I do LOVE Candice & hope she wins!! I'm a huge fan of several alums & will watch as long as it's on.

LOVE The Voice & have watched all seasons. I miss Cee-Lo but like the new coaches. I'm a bit disappointed in the talent coming to the live shows this year compared to the past, but there are a few great ones & it'll be interesting to see who the audience likes. Seems like country has done soooooo well the past 3 years across all shows (including X-Factor) so I hope we get something different this year (I was rooting for Terry last season). I *LOVE* Adam Levine and yes, the coaches' interactions (and performances, though we're getting a little of that on Idol recently) are the best thing about the show. That and seeing people I know & like from previous tv shows!! (This year had JPL from Idol, Frenchie was on S1, Jordis was from RockStar, & I knew Tony Vincent from Christian music in the 80's!)
