My dd got engaged!!!

Friday dd asked me if we wouldn't mind watching Maddie and Aiden overnight. Her bf wanted to take her out and they were going to stay out late. So dh and I said sure, and while they were out he proposed to her!!! I can't tell you how happy we are! I have waited a long time for her to find happiness. Most of you don't know that Maddie's father is not Aiden's father. My dd was in a relationship with Maddie's father for many years. He was not good to her or good FOR her, but it took many years for her to see the light. As much as it hurt her when she finally did, it was what she needed to move on. She was so unhappy for so long, and after a while she started seeing her current bf, who is Aiden's father. He is so good to her and she hasn't been happy like this in a long time. I can't tell you all how happy dh and I are! It is wonderful seeing her so happy!
