A peaceful relaxing day at the Oregon Coast. We went to Cape Meares and visited the lighthouse. We tried to take the boat out crabbing but the wind kicked up and we couldn't get out. Then we visited the Tillamook Cheese factory. Fun to see how cheese is made. This lighthouse is one of the shortest lighthouses.

Very very pretty day to spend the day at a lighthouse. LOL....I thought short lighthouse???? Understandable with the elevation.

I love lighthouses. I want to visit a bunch this summer too. My kids are older now to appreciate them. When they were little they just liked climbing the steps, lol.

Lovely lighthouse and views of the coast. I'd love to travel to all the corners of USA just to see the differences. We're flat down here and our lighthouse at NAS is tall (lot of winding steps!). Thanks for sharing your photos.

No cheese curds. I don't like squeaky cheese as we call it. We did however get an ice cream cone, which was the real reason we stopped!
