News from my House

Well, I know. I'm queen of making quick little comments, but not saying anything about what's going on with me.
In Sept my husband got a layoff notice. Fortunately, a week before his layoff, he got a job with the same company in another department. We feel very blessed.

Right before Christmas my childhood friend called me to let me know that they have a position at her company that I might be able to do from home. So I inquired, and got the job. I'm feeling soooo super blessed, because I haven't worked in the industry for 10 years, and wanted something that I could do from home, for like 6 hours a day and this job is all of that. I'm like...Thank you Jesus. It's amazing. And on top of that, someone paid me $200 for making some scrapbooks for them. I totally didn't expect it, so I was able to finally purchase my 60D. I haven't been able to really take it out for a spin, but I've been watching the Canon videos on the computer. Man, it's totally overwhelming. This camera has so much too it. It never thought it would be that much different than my XT. But I took some pics with it, and the color is so much better. I love it already.

Well, I know there is always so much bad news to go around, so I thought I would share some good news.

congrats to both of your for finding work. And yeah for a new camera. That is what scares me about getting a new one - having to learn how to use it. It took me years to learn the one I have and I still don't know everything about it.
