Inside, she had wrapped up all the ingredients and tools/pans needed to make this thai dish that I love. There was also a card, which had the recipe and a gift card to the grocery store (for the cold ingredients) inside. It was the most creative and thoughtful gift! (she gave my sister a similar gift, only for her homemade tomato sauce)

Friends Cocktail Party Christmas Eve, Christmas Brunch on Christmas Day (long standing tradition as I never wanted my son to have to have to pick between me or his father on Christmas Day & that way he had no guilt about going to his dad's family for the big Christmas lunch/dinner. Later it kept on working as he didn't have to pick between me or his partner's family). Our favourite though is Boxing Day - the day after Christmas - it's the best because I meet with all my friends, we bring all our leftovers and have a relaxed party with all the Christmas tension gone. This year it's gone to be even better with a "virtual Boxing Day" online with Jules, Janet & Pam!!!
