Candy corn & harvest colored M&Ms... and those peanut butter taffy-ish thingies... those are my kryptonite. :P

Yeah, it's really hard to pass up the yummy goodies. Our must haves are the autumn mix and pretty much anything pumpkin flavored (oh, that reminds me...last year I LOVED the Pumpkin Spice Kisses...so have to start looking for those!).

Yes, we've already bought our first, and definitely not last, bag of candy corn. YUM!
And Amber, I could eat bag after bag of those peanut butter taffys, too! :)

I'm a sucker for Crunch bars or Kit Kats. I eat them frozen. But this year, I vow not to buy ANY until the week before when I make up my treat bags. I'm trying hard to lose 10 lbs. and chocolate is my enemy.

If I have them in the house, I have a hard time staying away from them. But in the stores....no biggie to ignore them. I can walk right down the aisle and they don't grab me. I think it's because I don't even want to acknowledge halloween yet. My struggle this year is trying to figure out how much to buy....this is a neighborhood and we lived in a townhousse before so I have no idea how many kids to expect!

Our local grocery had the bags of fun size on sale yesterday, so I stocked up. My kids take them for dessert in their lunches, and I try to buy just the kinds that I don't really like so I'm not tempted.

On the flip side...Halloween peeps are out and I looooooove roasting them instead of marshmallows. I have five boxes in my pantry!

UGH, my coworker brought in a giant bag of halloween candy and we have a giant bag of stuff handed out at the parade. I'm trying so hard not to gorge myself on it. I have to keep reminding myself that 100 calories = 1 mile of running. Not that I mind the running but the extra weight will make it that much more difficult to meet my goals. I've already hit up the bucket at least a dozen times - I love this time of year, just not the calories that come with it.

stepping away from the candy.

I love getting those waxed paper wrapped peanut butter taffy chews that you can only find this time of year!!! one of the best parts of Halloween :-D and I don't feel a bit guilty about the bite sized candies, its much better than eating a full sized bar as long as you don't eat a whole bag, right :winkb:

Yes. Yes, those things are evil. We don't even know what they're called, but we're in love with them. ;)
