I've been doing hair 10 years! It has no retirement, no insurance (well that I could ever afford), no set hours or schedule, and my shop I work at is open 7 days a week.


I want a job that has at the least set hours that won't change, two same days off every week, when it's quitting time I actually get to leave (instead of staying because we're busy), somewhere that offers sick time would be nice too...this isn't so much to ask is it?????



So, I filled out several applications online for the University of North Texas (where my DH works), and one for the City of Denton. So ya'll keep your fingers crossed. I have completed highschool, some college, and of course completed Cosmetology school...but I haven't done anything clerical since 1999...so hoping for someone looking at the applications with an open mind!



I can't post this on facebook for anyone else to see because I'm friends with people from work, and last time they knew I was looking for something else, started to cut back my hours and looking to hire someone to replace me. I love the place I work at now, I'm just getting older and some of my priorities have changed. I sure hope I get a call, that would be so great!
