I look out the front window..what do I see....













My nieghbors putting up their CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS!

Way too early for that. We didn't even have Thanksgiving yet.
I realize it is mild out. But, they can just put the lights on their house! Save the ground decorations for a later date and time.

Hate to tell ya this, but I'm in the middle of putting mine up in my house! But the outdoor ones won't go up until after Thanksgiving.

Welcome to my world, all my neighbors do that every year....it's depressing. Then they leave them out until like Feb. They wreck the season because it's sooo long. They think I'm weird because I put them up the 1st week of Dec and take them down New Years day.

Still a little to early for my taste and I love Christmas time!! I see putting up lights and not turning them on if it's a better time so your not freezing outside trying to hang them or if you have help.. but not lawn decorations.. but that's just me.

The people by us put theirs up Friday... we came home after dark to a National Lampoon's-like scene lighting up the neighborhood!

Well they are just getting a jump start like Wal-Mart, Cracker Barrel and all the stores!!! I mean heck I even caught myself singing and dancing along to the songs playing!!!

Really though I do find it hard to believe. I was thinking of having Bill hang up the lights on the house because it was so nice out.. but our tradition is always the Friday and weekend after Thanksgiving is strictly for putting up decoration.. no Black Friday shopping.. but decorations!!!!

I agree with getting lights up, it's aready in the 40's here and any colder and it's not going to happen. We have one tree done so far, but need to buy new lights.

I hate to say it, but our tree is going up next weekend. Don't usually do it that early but I want to make sure it's up before we head to NC for the birth of #6.
