I just wanted to share as I am bursting with anticipation! My DS called me 8 1/2 hours ago from HI, my DIL is in labor, and my new granddaughter Kaileigh Alana is on her way!!! Gee, I am pacing the floor here just as though I was there with them! It makes me sad that they are there alone, (he is military), and I can't wait for news!



SHE IS HERE!!!!!!!

Born at 12:16 pm EST, weighing in at 8 pounds, 7 ounces. 21 inches long!!! Mother and baby doing great, I could hear her crying in the background! And my son said she has a head full of black hair, like her mama!!! I am SO very blessed and happy!!!

This is my new little angel! Thanks for sharing this with me, you are all GREAT! I hope to meet her for the holidays!

I will be Nana. Grandma just never appealed to me. This will be 3rd grand daughter, but first from my youngest son and his wife.
